This recipe came up through some os the stories in Instagram. I follow Sun Potion, transformational foods dedicated to health, happiness and well-being through the use of medicinal plants, superfoods and tonic herbs. All organic!. They make amazing potions and blends... so this recipe is inspired in Anandamide (a alchemical blend that harmonize the nerve, digestive and immune- system). Nature provides us with lot of sources of healing and well being (plants, herbs, fruits, roots...), thanks to those who shares all this information and contribute to a more holistic path of living.
Raw Cacao: It is a mood boost, rich in antioxidants, nourish and activate the brain and nervous system.
Reishi: It is a Japanese mushrom. It is called the "Longevity tonic", it helps the immune system of the body and stress relief.
Tocos: It comes from brown rice. It is a high fountain of vitamins E & D. It is good for the skin and connective tissues of the body, and good muscular function. It tastes like vanilla ice cream.
Maca: It is a root. It has many good effects, improves sexual function, aphrodisiac, mood boost, it helps as hormone balance and contains a lot of vitamins and nutrients.
Coconut Oil: In between many of its good benefits, it is antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. Improves digestion, it is a healthy fat, and reduces inflammation.
Place all the ingredients for the bade recipe on a blender and mix. You can drink the cocoa tonic cold or warm it up, like a hot cocoa. You can top the drink with some crushed cacao beans, nibs or cacao powder, to decorate the cup. Enjoy your "harmonizing treat"
